Fruit furniture is a new model of food display for retail space. Designed for and produced by Le Triangle Mobilier, it is now visible in several supermarkets.
We worked for Le Triangle Mobilier, a company specializing in the design and creation of sales areas like shops and supermarkets. Their approach allows for the development of innovative fruit furniture that enhances store aesthetics while ensuring functionality.
Designing Fruit Furniture for Display
Store managers are increasingly interested in custom furniture that stands out in their sales areas. In particular, furniture plays a key role in displaying fruits and vegetables in an inviting and practical way. The focus is on creating furniture that is not only durable but also visually appealing to attract customers.
Inspiration and Materials
For this project, my design inspiration came from weaving, canvas textures, and 3D printing filaments. Using laser-cut sheet steel, I designed the furniture’s feet to ensure fluidity and ventilation. Additionally, I incorporated LED lighting to bring dynamism to the display.
By focusing on slender, refined feet and integrating dynamic elements like lighting, this furniture offers a balance of style and practicality, enhancing the shopping experience.
